Green Thumb is an app that makes caring for your house plants fun and easy. Each task completed in the app will give you “reward seeds” which can be transfered to real life discount and prices to local businesses! Connect to the Green Thumb Community of plant owners just like you, to exchange tips about botany, share your favorite plants, or simply to chat with like-minded plant lovers! With Green Thumb, you’ll not only learn to take better care of your green friends, you’ll also make deep rooted connection all across the world!

For this project I worked with a team of designers through the entire process. We spent 3 months developing the idea, style, interface, and UI/UX flow together. We wanted to create something aesthetically pleasing while also something easy to understand and navigate. After deciding on our app name and idea we developed the information architecture, while keeping in mind the research on our audience, and trying not to overcomplicate the app. From there we used our design knowledge for the UX design. We kept it very clean while also bringing in earth tones for a nod back to our Green Thumb concept.
